Stampin’ Up! On Stage Sydney 2019

Hello Kreatives! Last weekend I got to go to Stampin' Up! On Stage Sydney 2019. It was soo much fun, and eagerly anticipated. Of course as one of the 700 demonstrators at the event, I brought home some great goodies. Enjoy my videos below of what I got and details on some of the products coming soon in the new Sale-E-Bration and Mini Catalogues.

This first video I show you the goodies I got on Saturday. I love that we get gifts from the new catalogue at On Stage. Seeing the items before anyone else makes us feel appreciated and special.

On Sunday once I got home, I was ordering some of the great porducts. See first hand some of the great products coming in the Sale-e-bration catalogue. Guess which set is my favourite.

Last but not least, the Mini Catalogue... My absolute favourite suite is in this catalogue.

Let it Snow Curvy Keepsakes Boxes

This project is using the Let it Snow Designer Series Paper and the Curvy Keepsakes die to make gorgeous little boxes. All items used in this project are available at my store. This link will take you to a personalised shopping list.

Let’s get started with some instructions and then a video.

The die for the box fits in a 6″ x 6 ” or 15cm x 15cm piece of Designer Series Paper. For this project, I used paper from the Let it Snow DSP in the 2019 Holiday Catalogue.

The following images show how you would make your “sandwich” for the die to be used in a Big Shot.

Once you have the sandwich sorted, put it through your big shot or other cutting machine. Instructions for the rest of the project are in the video below:

Free as a bird

I have a new card using the Stampin' Up!™ Free as a Bird stamp set. These little guys are a delight to colour, and I have actually coloured them in light browns to give the whole project an aged look. I think it is very effective.

The crumb cake card goes very well with the new In-Colour Rococco Rose, and I have used these Blends colours on the birds and flowers. I then fussy cut the images after colouring.

I used the Stampin' Blends for colouring, including Crumb Cake, Rococo Rose, Soft Suede and Old Olive and then antiqued everything with light crumb cake.

Butterfly Gala Bundle

Hello Kreatives,

I have another fabulous set to present to you this week. Again it is a set from the 2019  Occasions Catalogue from Stampin' Up! As you have probably guessed, more butterflies.

Here is a video with some more information on the bundle and the free Designer paper. Apologies for near the end of the video I say the Whisper White card stock is $14.75. It is $17.00 but you get 40 sheets. That is enough for 80 cards if you are using it for card bases only.

Incredible Like You - Window Card

Hello Kreatives,

This is the last card in my series of cards using Stampin' Up!s Incredible Like you stamp set. I have had a great time creating with this set. And I have seen many great inspiring cards using it on Pinterest as well.

With my 3rd card each week, I want to make a card that is a little more technical than the other two. Something to encourage you to spread your creative wings as well as mine. For this project I knew I wanted to use a window, and have the sentiment show through from the inside of the card. So here it is:

As you can see I used a lot of the stamps from this set. There is stamping on the base card, a window, and fussy cutting. There is a lot going on, but it isn't difficult once again. I really like thos flowers. This time you can see that as well as popping the sentiment on the inside of the card, I have decorated the bottom right hand corner.

Incredible Like You - I Just Adore You

Hello Kreatives,

I"m back with yet another card for you. Once again it is using the stamp set of the week Incredible Like You, from Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalogue for 2019. This is such a versitile set of stamps, I wonder how many different cards I could make? Hmmmm.

Here is todays card:

Isn't is just the cutest? I love the dots all over it. It is so bright an cheerful. This card was inspired by a tutorial on Pinterest, and I had to have a go at bending stamps. You will see what I mean in the tutorial video below. Once again I have gone with the same colours as the last video, Call Me Clover, Lovely Lipstick, Pineapple Punch and Memento Tuxedo Black.
